How do I register a team?
Open Register Team, complete the six steps, and sign in with Discord when you submit. Every application remains pending until Director review.
When will schedules and standings appear?
Fixtures appear after the official schedule is published. Standings begin after the first official result is confirmed.
How are match times displayed?
VPL stores competition times in UTC and displays them in your device's local timezone. A profile override will also be available in My VPL.
Where are the official rules?
Official documents will appear in Rules & Governance. Details still under review will be published before competition begins.

Information VPL may collect
When you use VPL services, we may process Discord authentication details, public gamertags, team and roster information, platform information, competition records, match statistics, applications, support reports, and technical logs. Private account identifiers are used for identity and league operations and are not intended for public display.
How information is used
VPL uses this information to operate competitions, verify identities and permissions, manage teams and rosters, schedule and review matches, publish approved records, deliver notifications, prevent abuse, investigate reports, and maintain an audit trail.
Storage and service providers
The public website is delivered through Cloudflare Pages. Competition data and authentication services use Supabase. Discord is used for sign-in, role verification, notifications, and league operations. Browser local or session storage may retain preferences and unfinished registration drafts.
Publication and retention
Only information approved for public competition use is shown publicly. Retention depends on the record type, league obligations, safety needs, and VPL leadership policy. Requests to access, correct, or remove eligible personal information can be submitted through the Support Center.
Security and changes
VPL uses server-side permission checks, restricted database policies, input validation, secure sessions, rate controls where supported, and audit records for sensitive actions. This notice will be updated as services and approved policies change.

Using VPL services
You must provide accurate information, protect your account, follow published VPL rules, and use the website and Discord services lawfully. Registration does not guarantee acceptance into a competition.
Competition records
Scheduled, unofficial, under-review, and final records are clearly distinguished. Only confirmed official results affect standings, ratings, brackets, and historical statistics.
Content and conduct
You remain responsible for content and evidence you submit. VPL may moderate, restrict, or remove access when needed to protect competition integrity, participant safety, or service reliability, subject to published rules and available review processes.

Features may change as the league develops. VPL will communicate material public changes through official announcements or release notes.
